Privacy policy

This policy describes what happens to information when you use VPN Lab. It is written to be read rather than to satisfy a template, and it is short because the service does not collect much.

What we process

• A key identifier and its expiry date, which is what makes the service work
• A Telegram account identifier, because the bot has to know which chat to send a key to
• The fact that a payment succeeded, when you make one

What we do not process

• Your name, email address, postal address or phone number
• The websites, apps or services you connect to through a key
• Connection logs or browsing histories linked to you
• Card numbers, which never touch our systems

Other parties involved

Telegram operates the bot channel and handles your messages to it under its own policy. Payments are processed by the payment provider used inside the bot, which sees what it needs to take the payment. Our servers are rented from hosting providers, which see network traffic volumes the way any host does.

How long anything is kept

Key records are kept while the key is valid and for a short period afterwards, so that a returning customer can be helped with a key that has just expired. After that they are deleted. There is no archive, because there is nothing worth archiving.

Your choices

Ask in the bot and a key record can be deleted at any time. Since no email address or name was ever collected, there is no further profile to request, correct or erase. Questions about this policy go to [email protected].

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version replaces this page. We will not quietly begin collecting something that is listed above as not collected.
